Quontay "Q" Turner

Quontay Turner, also known as "Q", is a multi-talented creative.  Born and raised in Boston, her creativity was born when she learned to bake from scratch at the age of 7. It was then that she fell in love with the act of taking nothing and creating something that people loved.

Q Made It was founded in 2015. What started as an upcycled vinyl record craft business, quickly became a home for all of her creative endeavors inspired by her life. She is a baker, plant momma, paw-parent, and a community connector with a love for activating spaces for diversity to thrive. Her art, merchandise, and sweet treats are all inspired by what she loves. She curates immersive cultural experiences and finds ways for our culture to take up more space in a city not known for its diversity.

With the viral  success of her Black Panther inspired Wakanda design in 2018, she was able to transition from working in diversity, equity and inclusion to finally pursuing her creative business full-time.

Welcome to Q Made It, the creative interpretation of her life.
